The AS530 Infrared Thermometer (previously sold under IR530) is designed to quickly measure the surface temperature of objects without physical contact. Using infrared sensing technology, it detects thermal energy emitted from an object’s surface and converts it into an accurate temperature reading within milliseconds. This makes the AS530 an excellent choice for applications where contact measurement is impractical, unsafe, or inconvenient.

With a measuring range of -32°C to 550°C, the AS530 is suitable for a wide variety of industrial, commercial, and maintenance tasks. From checking electrical panels and motors to inspecting HVAC systems, ovens, bearings, pipes, and machinery, users can safely obtain temperature readings while maintaining a safe distance from hot or moving equipment.

The built-in laser target pointer helps users accurately identify the measurement location, while the 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio allows measurements to be taken from a comfortable working distance. The backlit LCD display ensures clear visibility even in dimly lit environments.

For added convenience, the thermometer includes useful functions such as Data Hold, °C/°F selection, and automatic power-off to extend battery life.
