The RHA-503ATC Handheld Battery/Anti Freeze/Clean Refractometer is a professional-grade optical measuring instrument designed to provide quick and accurate testing of battery electrolyte concentration and coolant freeze protection levels.

Unlike single-purpose refractometers, the RHA-503ATC combines four essential measurement scales into one compact instrument. It enables users to determine the specific gravity of battery electrolyte solutions while also measuring the freeze point protection of ethylene glycol antifreeze, propylene glycol antifreeze, and windshield washer cleaning fluids.

This makes the instrument particularly useful for automotive workshops, fleet operators, maintenance technicians, battery service centres, and industrial facilities that routinely inspect cooling systems and battery conditions.

The built-in Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) system automatically adjusts readings for ambient temperature variations between 10°C and 30°C, helping maintain measurement accuracy without manual corrections.

Operation is simple. A few drops of sample liquid are placed on the prism using the supplied pipette. The user then views the scale through the eyepiece to obtain an immediate reading. The refractometer can also be easily calibrated using distilled water and the supplied adjustment screwdriver, ensuring long-term measurement reliability.
